Guild Annual Conference 2023

Held at the Hayes Conference Centre in Derbyshire.

  • Judging, verbal feedback or just for display!
  • Learn from some great lectures
  • Socialise with like-minded taxidermists

We've listened to members following the last conference and this year we have a very varied conference this time round. Ranging from moulding and casting, case making, airbrushing techniques as well as a presentation on sustainability with taxidermy and much more. You can say we have crammed in as much as we can.

It will be worth making an extra effort in your grond work this year, as we are pleased to announce that Alec Tiranti, www.tiranti.co.uk are sponsoring the Norfolk trophy with a £250.00 voucher for the winner!

To save time during the conference, we are trying out a tombola instead of a raffle. If you have any items you'd like to donate for the raffle (Taxidermy related), please get in touch.

Don't forget we have a dual challenge this year with avian and mammal. It's a French partridge and a fox head.

This years theme is "On the move" sponsored by Taxidermy Law.

We are also pleased to announce that our independent foreign judges will be attending again this year!

There will be a new category to enter specimens for verbal feedback only -more details to follow.
