2012 conference only a few weeks away .
The Guild’s annual conference for 2012 will take place at the Hayes conference centre over the weekend of 23rd - 25th March 2012. We are delighted to have as our Guest speaker, Matthias Fahrni from Switzerland. Although Matthias uses tiny fish to demonstrate his Technique for preparing breathtakingly accurate mounts his methods can be adapted for all avenues of Taxidermy, weather you mount Fish, Birds,Mammals or Gameheads you are sure to learn some valuable tips from watching his extremely talented Taxidermist.

Matthias is a 2 time world champion. He won his first world championship in 2003 and the second in Salzburg, Austria, in 2008.
His winning entry at Salzburg was bullhead measuring just 9 cm in length is now displayed in the Natural History Museum in Solothurn.
Matthias's Latest mount is the smallest skin mount fish ever to be mounted. It is pictured here next to his wifes little finger to give an idea of how small it is

The theme for this years 'themed competition' Will Be " Springtime". This was chosen By Last years winner Dennis Baker.
