2012 World show Austria

The 2012 World Taxidermy championships is being held in Salzburg Austria From 19th - 26th February 2012. The show is open to the public from Thursday 23rd . We have several members exhibiting specimens at the show and we hope they do well.

If however you would like to go over just to view the 100's of top quality mounts from all over the world then it is an ideal opportunity to go as the championships Will not be held in Europe again until 2016.

At the moment it seems like Direct flights to Salzburg are limited and only flying from London airports. several members have already booked a flight from Gatwick leaving at 9.50 on Friday 24th and returning on Sunday 26th . Costs vary depending on where you book but average around £150

There are plenty of hotels in salzburg and prices are very reasonable although they are filling up fast as the exhibition centre is also holding the Game fair ( equal in size to our CLA game fair ) over the same week.
