2012 conference

For those that were unable to attend this years conference there will be a full conference report in the Guild journal this year.

Matthias Fahrni gave an excellent presentation to an audience who's numbers were way in excess of previous years , Kim McDonald gave a very helpful and informative talk on the law relating to taxidermy , Pat Morris's talk on the world taxidermy show went down very well ,as Pats talks always do. Sunday saw Mike Gad advise us on his methods of dealing with damaged specimens , repairing feathers and salvaging freezer burned specimens. Dave Holingworth rounded off this years conference with a very good and informative practical demonstration on his methods of finishing and painting a game bird using an airbrush.

During the conference Honorary membership was awarded to Kim McDonald and James Dickinson for their Dedication and services to the Guild of Taxidermists over many years.
